About Us

STRONGER TOGETHER. Crossfit Lacertus exists for those two words -which has become our ethos. We want to become stronger, and we want to do it together.

CrossFit Lacertus is YOUR CrossFit box on the corner. This is a place and atmosphere where anyone at any point on their fitness journey could walk in, feel welcome and leave feeling and knowing they got a quality workout in. Lacertus has experienced CrossFit Trainers who not only care about your fitness goals and gains, but care about your health and well-being. CrossFit Lacertus strives to provide an authentic CrossFit experience- a methodology that has proven effective for all ages and body types. Whether you are 8, 28 or 88- there is a place for you at CrossFit Lacertus. We provide classes for kids, teens, adults and beyond.

When you walk in the doors of CrossFit Lacertus, be assured you will be seen, valued and cared for during your time with us. Your health and well-being are our priorities. What We Offer

Lacertus Kids
Lacertus Kids is a strength and conditioning program that is specifically designed for kids and teens and help them develop a lifelong love for fitness. In a group setting, children and teens participate in fun and engaging work outs and games that deliver measurable results and prepare them to be well rounded athletes. CrossFit Lacertus also believes in holistic health, so Lacertus Kids also works with kids and teens on mental and emotional health. Our program promotes a healthy lifestyle mentally and physically.
Food
NUTRITION COACHING
Stop wasting time on a program that you aren’t sure will work for you. Coach Sandi is our in house nutrition coach under the Hard House Nutrition company that has helped thousands of people around the world achieve their health and fitness goals.

CROSSFIT
Group CrossFit is the traditional class that includes a skill-based warm-up, skill or strength training, the Workout of the Day (or “WOD”), and mobility work. The workouts can always be scaled so that new athletes can workout alongside veteran athletes.

55 & OVER FITNESS

If you’re an older athlete or looking to get back into working out after a long hiatus, you’re in good hands with us. Our On-Ramp classes will help you learn the basics and our staff is always happy to help you find options to scale movements up and down based on ability limitations. We’ll make sure you always get a safe and fun workout, regardless of where you are starting.

HEALTH AND LONGEVITY / LOOK GOOD, FEEL GOOD

If health and longevity and just over all looking and feeling good are your top priorities, we got you! We encourage you to try all of our offering; CrossFit, CrossHiit, Olympic lifting, Power lifting, personal training and open gym to find the format that you enjoy the most. Our staff of experienced coaches are happy to work with you to help develop a workout schedule that will help you thrive to look and feel your best both in and out of the gym.

STRENGTH AND MUSCLE GAIN / ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE

Look no further than our CrossFit, Olympic lifting, power lifting classes. These will challenge you and help you become a stronger athlete both mentally and physically. We also offer all day open gym to allow you time to work on your own primary, accessory or sport specific programming.

WEIGHT LOSS & TONING

Our classes are designed to help you reach whatever aesthetic, performance, or health related goals you may have. If you’re interested in weight loss and toning, you’ll love our CrossFit classes with the option to work with our in house nutrition coach. You’ll learn to fuel your body for your day-to-day demands while challenging your body in a safe way under the guidance of our certified (experienced) coaches. Our quarterly 6-week challenges are a great way kick start your weight loss in safe supportive group environment.

In less than a minute, InBody will change the way you see yourself. It’s the device that looks right through you and delivers in-depth, comprehensive analysis data like no other assessment method. Your weight consists of muscle, fat and water, and the key to effective weight loss is losing excess body fat, not overall body weight. Instead of tracking how heavy you are, use body composition analysis to track how healthy you really are. We use this tool to create personalized nutrition plans for our clients through One-On-One Nutrition Coaching.
